All grown up and nowhere to go

I KNEW IT. It’s hereditary.

Posted on: October 10, 2009

I came back to work for a while this morning but had to go to a family lunch after, so my dad said he will pick me up from my office. When I called him from the dressing room of Zara (don’t ask how I got to Zara from office, it’s one of those unexplainable natural phenomena), he said to meet him at the ‘Bucks at Millenia Walk.

When I reached the mall five minutes later, I found him not sipping coffee but paying for a polo tee at British India. It was the exact shade of muted blue as his other 236 polos. Then, on the way out, he was distracted by one of those ah-pek short-sleeved button shirt, again in blue.

See? Shopaholism is hereditary.
